10. ADVENTURE
Not all of us are going to cliff dive or surf, but many of us can zipline, white water raft, or kayak. All of us can enjoy a jungle cruise. While you'll enjoy free time on gorgeous beaches, this is not another trip to Cancun laying on the beach and drinking Mai tais every day.

Costa Rica has 1000 miles of gorgeous coastline and you will get some time to relax and enjoy it.
8. Wildlife
Some of you will join us on an African Safari in 2017, but Costa Rica is closer and it has amazing wildlife you can't experience other places in the world. See Sloths, monkeys, colorful frogs, iguanas, parrots, and 811 other species of birds in their natural environment. See some of the most amazing butterflies in the world.
7. Food
Costa Rica is known for some of your old favorites like, coffee, bananas, chocolate, vanilla, pepper and cinnamon. You'll also enjoy some flavorful cuisine unique to this very unique place.

Costa Rica is known as the happiest country on Earth. This peaceful country's common saying among locals is “Pura Vida” which means “pure life.” Everywhere you go in Costa Rica you will be welcomed with a smile by the locals, and they will truly make you feel at home in their country

Whether it's on a mountain lake, a jungle cruise, or a trip to the beach, the scenery will be both diverse and amazing!
4. Rain forests
About 25% of the country is made up of protected national parks and rain forests which hold 5% of the worlds biodiversity. Aside from taking canopy and zip-lining tours, we will tour through the rain-forest treetops guided by an expert naturalist. This is perfect for the less adventurous. Walking tours with guides will point out different animals and species and help you find that elusive sloth.

Costa Rica currently has five listed active volcanoes and 200+ volcanic formations.
